I got an iPod Touch for Christmas, and I put int into sleep mode (if that is indeed what it is) by pressing the ‘hold’ button on the top. But when I got an e-mail, my iPod beeped, and when I went to check, it seemed like the battery had been run down a bit since I had last checked it.
